Endless hiking and biking trails can be found throughout the area, many within a few minutes’ drive. Royal Mountain, home to motorsports in the summer and family friendly skiing in the winter is under a 15-minute drive.
Daytrips can be made to numerous historical destinations including forts, churches, taverns and battle sites dating back to the Revolutionary War. Saratoga Springs is less than an hour’s drive; and Cooperstown and the Finger Lakes wine country are easy day trips. Or, spend the day in a picturesque Adirondack mountain town like Northville or Old Forge to take in the local flavor at the many shops and cafes.
In the winter, snowmobile club trails are all over the area with a trail just minutes down the road from the property. Nearby Lapland Lake Nordic Cross-country Ski Area boasts more than 30 miles of the best cross-country skiing in the Adirondacks.
